Osmin E. Fuentes' story
I'm from El Salvador - the land of volcanos & one of the biggest coffee growing countries.
I'm the youngest of 8 kids, & I remember watching my mom bake for us as well as sell baked goods to our community. My dad, whom God called to His presence back in 2020 was a farmer. He sowed & harvested coffee, while my mom roasted the coffee & cocoa to make chocolate. The smell that came out from our house was pleasing. It was here where I developed my passion for baking & love for coffee & chocolate mixtures. I'm married to a women who loves to bake & is a creative coffee Barista. Together with our lovely son we are SalvadoRican Coffee & Mylee's Sweets & Coffee. |
Mylady Tirado's story:
I'm from La Isla del Encanto, Puerto Rico!. Since I was a young girl I loved to bake & invent new recipes of sweets, pastries, & desserts in my granny's kitchen back in Puerto Rico. In my teenage years, I was the one who brought sweets to our family reunions. I moved to Virginia & married a bakery & coffee loving man!. Both of us noticed the huge growth of the Latin population in the area & the high demand for our beloved country's sweets & excellent quality coffee. During my collage years I studied the allied health professions. I developed an expertise in rehabilitation, but also, I learned how to serve & treat my customers with excellence. These skills taught me that keeping a strong connection & offering outstanding customer care were the keys to keep growing any business.
